Over 50 titles compiled and annotated for Trojan Records including the best selling Dancehall 69, Dawning Of A New Era, Arise Rootsman, Funky Kingston volumes 1 & 2, and The Joe Mansano compilation which were all original ideas.

Virgin Frontline worked on the Frontline Box Set and numerous reissues of Virgin artists both compiling and annotating.

Snapper Music. Misty In Roots 2CD set annotated, plus various single artist sets.

The Skinhead Sevens Box Set – boxed collection of reproduction vinyl singles. Trojan Records. Original idea, compiled, annotated and supplied all the source material.

Annotated and worked on a number of vinyl and CD reissues and compilations for Sunspot Records including Reggae With The Hippy Boys and The Upsetters – Return Of Django.


Contributor, feature writer and reviewer for Record Collector. Plus regular ska/reggae review column.
Also adviser on Jamaican music to the magazine and contributor to the Rare Record Price Guide.

BBC Radio 1. Researched and wrote the two hour history of reggae, Trojan Records and skinheads. Broadcast in June 2006 as two one hour sections. Organised and contributed to interviews within the programme. Suggested and provided music for the programme.
